Vicente Gandia winery is pioneer once again in the wine industry being the first winery in Valencia using this type of packaging.
After six years harvesting success, Sandara re-invents itself again and introduce its products in a brand new individual 250 ml packaging made of aluminum. Sandara White and Sandara Rosé will be the two first releases to be introduced in this new format and they will be launched in the 50 countries where the brand is present.

Sustainability: This bottle and cap are 100% recyclable, both made of aluminium.
Convenience: Aluminium provides comfort, allows the liquid to chill quicker and keeps cold for longer time. In addition, the screwcap bottle format permit to be opened and closed as many times as needed.
Durability: Unbreakable package. It has an inner lining that protects the contact of the liquid with this material. This package is opaque and keeps better the taste preserving the product from direct light.
Versatility: Individual format of 25ml in aluminium bottle. New format in the wine industry with much more possibilities than glass packaging. This package can be used in: swimming pool bars, outdoor activities, beach bars or music festivals. The weight and size are ideal for airlines, trains, cruise lines, convenience stores or hotels.

On the 29th and 30th of January 2019 the 6th edition of the “Sakura” Japan Women’s Wine Awards took place in Tokyo, the most important wine competition in Japan. This contest involves a total of 4500 wines from 33 countries and is peculiar in that it is carried out exclusively by women linked to the wine sector. Its judges comprise wine specialists, renowned sommeliers, winemakers, oenology teachers, journalists, hotel beverage managers, retail managers, importers and distributors.
Through a blind tasting carried out by the judges, the wines that are judged by Japanese women to be better in terms of pairing with Japanese cuisine are set apart, as well as those that are good value for money and are also more attractive to Japanese consumers and buyers.
The contest has three main objectives: Help the consumer decide on a wine to pair with Japanese cuisine, increase the annual wine consumption per person and increase the chances of integrating women in the wine sector.
Once again, our wines have obtained great results in this contest. In addition to the DOUBLE GOLD medal obtained by NEBLA VERDEJO, we have been awarded the GOLD medal for the following wines: Hoya de Cadenas Reserva, Ceremonia Bobal, Sandara Blanco and Castillo de Liria Brut.
NEBLA VERDEJO expresses the freshness and joviality of the dawn after a night of harvest. This perfect and unique blend between the cold of the night and the morning sun, result in this 100% Verdejo single-varietal fruit with great expressiveness and a fresh palate. After controlling the ripening, the night harvest is carried out in September to take advantage of the cool temperatures that help to preserve the aromas. A light cold maceration is carried out to enhance the aromatic intensity of the must, before its controlled fermentation at low temperatures for a period of 18 days.
El Miracle is consolidated as the valencian premium wine brand after achieving different recognitions worldwide
The Valencian cava El Miracle Brut from Bodegas Vicente Gandía, considered one of the best according to “The Fifty Best Wines 2018”, and El Miracle 120 Anniversary Rosé win Distinguished Recognition from the DOP Valencia.
The Fifty Best contest awards El Miracle Cava Brut with a Gold Medal, winning the award for the best “Sparkling Wine”. This contest was held in the United States, where 14 judges blindly tasted 17 sparkling wines from around the world.
El Miracle Cava Brut is made using the traditional method or “champenoise”. After obtaining the base wine with a white perfumed variety such as Macabeo and another variety with body like Chardonnay, it is aged in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months. During this period the bottles remain in a horizontal position, called “in stacks”, at a constant temperature of about 15ºC, in order to carry out a second fermentation by accumulating the yeasts along the bottle.
After tasting all the wines and scoring them, the judges highlighted El Miracle Cava Brut’s aroma of “red apple, ripe mango, lemon, citrus grapefruit, sugar, mineral”, among other things. In addition, they point out that in the mouth it is: “Tropical, clean, energetic and citric, and its finish is refreshing, very pleasant and slightly acidic”.
In addition, the El Miracle 120 Anniversary Rosé has been awarded a Gold Medal for the Denomination of Origin Valencia as “Distinguished in Valencia”. This award has been granted by the Valencian Sommeliers Association.

Last year, the Sandara range won recognition as a gold medal in the “Best wine packaging” category at the ECRM (Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing) contest in San Diego, California. A unique forum that brings together the main heads of American purchasing in the wine sector.
On this occasion SANDARA’s sparkling wines exceeded their expectations in the US market, getting great scores in the “Ultimate Wine Challenge” contest held in Hawthorne (New York).
This contest, directed by F. Paul Pacult, is made up of a panel of judges, experts in the wine sector in the US: buyers, importers, journalists, experts in international wines, distributors and retailers who have made blind tastings of a series of products from different categories and have rated each of them with a maximum of 100 points.
Once again SANDARA, the successful brand of Bodegas Vicente Gandía, triumphs in the US and obtains more than 90 points in several products of its range, especially Sandara Premium Sangría which obtained 94 points, the Sandara white with 92 points, and the Sandara Rosé with 90 points. .
In addition to the excellent score obtained, the Sandara range has been considered “Great Value”, the best value for money. This recognition highlights the effort and dedication that the winery has towards this product that has only been on the market for three years with a spectacular projection and acceptance by the consumer, both nationally and internationally.
