This competition was founded in 1969, normally takes place in London and is one of the most prestigious in the industry. Each year, the contest receives participants from more than 90 countries around the world. The prizes awarded by the competition are considered high honors within the world of oenology. The evaluation process consists of a blind tasting and evaluated by 250 specialized judges from around the world.

Nebla Verdejo expresses the freshness and zest of daybreak after a night harvest. This superb and unique combination of the night-time chill, the mist (“niebla” in Spanish) and the morning sun results in this single-varietal 100% Verdejo that is fully fruity and fresh on the palate.

An attractive straw-yellow colour with greenish iridescences. Its nose offers everything that could be expected from the Verdejo variety: fennel, freshly mown hay and tropical fruits (pineapple and mango). On the palate it is buttery with a fine fruity finish and refreshing acidity.

This new recognition obtained in ‘IWC 2021’ adds to the long list of awards that this wonderful Verdejo has obtained since it was launched on the market. It never ceases to amaze consumers in all parts of the world.
