The Miracle 120 Rosé was awarded by industry professionals

Bodegas Vicente Gandia wooed the sommeliers once again with this El Miracle 120 wine.

The D.O. Valencia held on 3rd June is an event which brings industry professionals together and where the novelties of the Denomination of Valencian origin are presented. The finest wines with the aim of promoting the wines from our region have been selected for a number of years whenever the ASVASU (The Valencian Sommelier Association) celebrations are held.

These wines are chosen by 11 appointed professionals who are members of the ASVASU where they perform a blind tasting test held at the regulatory D.O. Valencia Council.

The Miracle 120 rosé from the Bodegas Vicente wineries, was one of those at the forefront. A truly special rosé which matures for 15 years before entering the marketplace. It sets itself aside with its special blend of Shiraz and Garnacha. It possesses a delicate pink colour with violet tones and ripe raspberry and cherry aromas. It has an intense red fruity flavour when inside the mouth.

It undergoes a magical development because of its short skin maceration period which produces its juice for a maximum of eight hours in order to generate the specific aromas which characterise the Shiraz and Garnacha varieties and which therefore produce the required blends. It is then fermented at a temperature of 18º C so that the aromas extracted can be preserved.

This award will be presented to Vicente Gandia throughout the event: “The D.O. Valencia” awards evening will take place on 3rd June at the El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía de Valencia.
