Two wines of Bodegas Vicente Gandia obtain Gold Medal in the Asia Wine Trophy

El Miracle Rosado Nº5 and Ceramic Monastrell get gold medals in the competition most important in Asia

The Asia Wine Trophy competition has now become one of the largest international competitions and is the most important in Asia. During this last edition, a total of 4,300 wines from 34 countries were registered. In the contest the samples were evaluated by an international jury of 140 members.

Bodegas Vicente Gandia has received two gold and one silver medals in this competition. The wines that have been awarded are:

Ceramic Monastrell aged in Ceramic Vats, awarded with a Gold Medal. Its intense, dark red wine with lively edges. On the nose, the aromas of ripe plum, liquorice and notes of coconut and vanilla stand out.In the mouth it is wide, robust, with sweet tannins and elegant acidity. Leaving the memory in the mouth of these very ripe red fruits.

With other Gold Medal has been awarded El Miracle Rosado Nº5. Pale pink colour, its bouquet displays the strawberry characteristics so characteristic of the Bobal grape variety and its lively fruit is confi­rmed on the palate with a refreshing acidity. The intense strawberry flavours linger on the finish.

Vicente Gandia Bobal Negro by Pepe Hidalgo has received a Silver Medal. This wine has an intense red colour and purple rim. Aromas of rich red fruits and English caramel with slight smoky notes. On the palate it well rounded and full, finishing with light notes of oak from its barrel ageing.

These awards highlight the aim of an international winery and the reputation of its wines within these markets. In addition, they confirm once again the potential that our wines give off for the Asian market
