Vicente Gandía wines shine again in Germany with 10 gold medals

The Valencian winery once again achieves great recognition in the two German reference competitions, Mundus Vini and the Berliner Wein Trophy.

Bodegas Vicente Gandia has won 10 Gold Medals in the two leading German international competitions, Mundus Vini and the Berliner Wein Trophy. In addition, these two contests are the ones with the most international reputation, as both buyers and consumers around the world refer to their scores.

The new wine style of Bodegas Vicente Gandía promoted by its technical director Pepe Hidalgo continues to conquer palates and obtain recognition. These awards reinforce the company’s new vision, which is focused on producing new premium references and at the same time improving the qualities of existing wines.

The references that have obtained a gold medal at Mundus Vini are: Ceramic Monastrell, El Miracle ART, Nebla Verdejo and Finca del Mar Verdejo. In the Berliner Wein Trophy contest, the award-winning wines are: Vicente Gandía Bobal Blanco, Vicente Gandía Bobal Negro, El Miracle Cava Brut, Nebla Garnacha, Nebla Tempranillo Roble and Hoya de Cadenas Reserva Privada. A good representation of the wines from Bodegas Vicente Gandía has been recognized, on the one hand, the new Premium creations such as Ceramic and Los Bobales and also brands as consolidated in the market as El Miracle, Nebla or Hoya de Cadenas. This is an unequivocal sign of the great qualities that the winery applies to all its wines.

Mundus Vini was founded by Meininger Verlag and is one of the most important competitions in the world, this year more than 11,000 references have been tasted. The jury is made up of oenologists, wine producers and distributors, sommeliers and specialized journalists from around the world who taste the wines, sparkling wines and liqueur wines without knowing their names.

The Berliner Wine Trophy has become the most influential wine competition in Germany, as well as being the largest international wine competition in the world under the patronage of the OIV and the UIOE. Every year the BWT brings together well-known producers and distributors from all over the world, and the number of exhibits presented continues to grow with almost 15,000 entries per year (winter and summer edition).

These recognitions are great news for the wines of the Valencian Community and for the winery that now has even more arguments, if possible, to achieve a better implantation in the more than 100 markets where it has a presence and also to be able to do so in those in which it has not yet is present.
